Welcome to the 2009/2010 Greater Houston Bowling Senate bowling season. Your GHBS membership card is your ticket to an exciting array of bowling opportunities and benefits backed by the oldest and largest bowling membership organizations in the world.

We have an exciting and fun packed season of local, regional and national Tournaments planned for you this season and we look forward to your participation.

As member of the GHBS/TNBA you will be eligible for our Membership Awards Program. This program recognizes each member’s milestone of achievement by honoring them with an award.  Just complete the awards application for the milestone you have achieved; Have your league secretary sign the application and turn into the Senate Secretary. Please refer to the enclosed membership Low Score and High Score Achievement Award Applications.

Now is also a great time to encourage any children in your life to join TNBA Junior Bowling Program, which features many activities for our children to get involved in our great sport. There are awards programs, tournaments and scholarships. All benefit to the children as a TNBA Junior Bowler.

I encourage you to take advantage of these benefits and become active in GHBS/TNBA’s programs and events available to you on the national, regional and local levels.  Your unique membership ID number opens up doors to a lifetime of bowling fun! Through its programs and services GHBS/TNBA is focused on the growth of the sport and is committed to protecting its integrity.

Become a card carrying TNBA member. Your TNBA card along with your USBC card is a must have to local, regional and national tournaments.

GHBS Tournaments

Junior Bowlers can also look forward to the same regional, national and scratch tournaments.

Note: As of September 1,2009 all leagues and tournaments that our members bowl in must be sanctioned by TNBA in order for members to qualify and to receive awards for honor scores shot. Contact GHBS secretary Hazel Philson if there are any questions.
